What You Need to Know

Being a tax exempt organization (referred to as a 501c3) and a non-profit organization are two different things. Mother Armenia is an official Non-Profit organization recognized by California's Franchise Tax Board, or FTB. Additionally, Mother Armenia is registered as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization with the IRS.

Our Tax Exemtpion History

Mother Armenia applied for 501(c)(3) tax exemtpion with the IRS on April 25, 2023. After nearly nine months later, the IRS approved our application on January 18, 2024. This means that all past donations to Mother Armenia are tax deductible.

What This Means for Donors

  • Your donaitons are tax deductible for the year in which they are made.
  • All of our tax returns are public and available for your viewing.
